When I'm not at home with my dogs I'm at work with these guys. I feel very lucky to have my job. I get to work with Steller sea lions and Northern fur seals. We do research with them to try and figure out why they are disappearing in the wild - mostly metabolic research. The animals are very well trained and go in and out of research equipment (metabolic chambers, transport cages, etc.) voluntarily. We have 11 Stellers and 6 fur seals. These are pretty cool animals!
